Internships

Since 2017, the Kambala Internship Program has provided Old Girls with the opportunity to intern at businesses connected to the wider Kambala community. The Program aims to support early career Old Girls by offering valuable work experience and enhancing career prospects across a variety of industries.

In the past, internships have been offered in fields such as fintech, financial services, investment banking, fashion, HR/recruitment, legal services, real estate development, media, communications, advertising, and radiology. All internships are paid, with the exception of the Linden Fellowship, which is based at Linden Solutions in New York City. Successful candidates receive mentorship and professional training to support their career development.

While the program did not run in 2024, we are excited to relaunch this opportunity in 2025 and are seeking interested companies from the Kambala community, including parents and Old Girls, to offer internships. Prospective interns are also encouraged to register their interest so we can keep them informed about upcoming opportunities as they arise.

"The Linden Fellowship was easily the most incredible three months of my life! The opportunities to learn from the whole team at LGS was priceless and I returned to Australia with a new found confidence."

Linden Fellowship

The Linden Fellowship, founded by Kambala Old Girl Josephine (Brazil) Linden ’69, provides Kambala Old Girls with a unique opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the financial sector while living in New York City. As the Founder and CEO of Linden Global Strategies, Josephine offers this prestigious Fellowship to support the professional growth of young women entering the financial industry.

The Fellowship allows participants to work closely with Josephine and her team, gaining insights into wealth management and financial decision-making. Fellows are actively involved in meetings with clients and fund managers, internal planning sessions, and tailored experiences based on their personal interests.

In addition to the invaluable professional experience, the Linden Fellowship fosters a growing community of past Fellows who reunite annually. Josephine frequently visits Australia, where she meets with former Fellows, creating lasting connections that extend well beyond the three-month program. While the Fellowship is unpaid and requires participants to self-fund their trip, it offers a lifetime of networking and mentorship opportunities.

Further details on how to apply and information about future opportunities will be posted in the coming months.
